1. Introduction
This Policy outlines the procedures and conditions for cancelling registrations and requesting refunds for SurgiGym educational courses and workshops.
This Policy operates without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights under applicable Saudi Arabian law.
2. Participant-Initiated Cancellation
Participants may request cancellation of their registration under the following conditions:
- More than 30 days before the course: Full refund of registration fees (100%).
- 14 to 30 days before the course: 50% refund of registration fees.
- Less than 14 days before the course: No refund under the voluntary cancellation policy.
- Failure to attend without prior notice (No-show): No refund under the voluntary cancellation policy.
These restrictions do not apply where a participant has a statutory right to cancel the contract or receive a refund.
3. Statutory Right of Cancellation
Subject to applicable statutory exceptions, consumers may rescind a service contract within fourteen days of entering into the contract, provided they have not used or benefited from the service, in accordance with the Saudi E-Commerce Law.
Any costs arising from such rescission shall be handled as permitted by applicable law.
Mandatory consumer rights prevail over any more restrictive commercial terms in this Policy.
4. Cancellation by SurgiGym
If SurgiGym cancels a course, registered participants may choose:
- A full refund of the fees paid.
- Transfer to an available alternative course date with their agreement.
5. Course Postponement or Rescheduling
If a course is materially rescheduled, participants will be notified and offered the option to attend the revised date or receive a refund if the alternative date is unsuitable.
6. Registration Transfer
Participants may request to transfer their registration to another eligible participant before the course, subject to:
- SurgiGym approval.
- The replacement participant meeting course eligibility requirements.
- Sufficient time to complete administrative changes.
7. Digital Courses
Recorded lectures and digital learning materials are subject to the access and usage conditions disclosed at purchase, without limiting mandatory statutory consumer rights.

- Full name.
- Course title.
- Registration number or proof of payment.
- Reason for cancellation or refund.
9. Refund Processing
Requests will be reviewed, and participants will be informed of the outcome. Approved refunds will normally be issued through the original payment method unless another appropriate arrangement is agreed upon.
SurgiGym aims to process approved refunds within 14 business days, without prejudice to any shorter legally required deadline. The time required for funds to appear may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
10. Exceptional Circumstances
Cancellation requests involving medical emergencies or force majeure may be reviewed individually, considering supporting documentation and applicable legal rights.
